Pak Suzuki increases car prices up to Rs 230,000
Pak Suzuki has increased car prices up to Rs 230,000 following other car markers-IMC and Honda.
The new car prices will be applicable from April 1, 2022.
Suzuki Alto
The price of Alto VX goes up by Rs119,000 to Rs1,425,000 against the old rate of Rs1,306,000.
The price of Alto VXR is also up by Rs129,000 to Rs1,675,000, against the old price of Rs1,546,000.
The price of Alto VXL/AGS also went up from Rs1,747,000 to Rs1,886,000, registering a hike of Rs139,000.
Suzuki Cultus
The Cultus VXL/AGS has seen an increase of Rs240,000 from Rs2,422,000 to Rs2,662,000.
Cultus VXR price is also up to Rs2,250,000 from Rs2,030,000 with a fresh hike of Rs220,000.
The price of Cultus VXL goes up by up Rs230,000 to Rs2,474,000, against the Rs2,244,000 old rate.
Suzuki Wagon R
The price of Wagon R AGS is also up by Rs161,000 to Rs2,319,000 against the earlier rate Rs2,158,000 .
The price of Wagon VXR goes up Rs142,000 to Rs2,019,000, against Rs1,877,000 old rate.
Wagon R VXL witnessed a hike of Rs154,000 to Rs2,129,000 against Rs1,975,000 old rate.
Suzuki Bolan
Bolan Van, will be available now at Rs1,283,000 with recent increase of Rs105,000 against the old rate of Rs1,178,000.
The price of Bolan AC is also up Rs105,000 to a new rate of Rs1,370,000.
The price of Bolan Cargo witnessed a new increase of Rs105,000 to Rs1,270,000.
Suzuki Swift
The company also hiked price of Suzuki GL Manual by Rs195,00 to Rs2,694,000, from Rs2,499,000.
The Swift GL CVT variant will not be available at Rs2,908,000 against the old rate of Rs2,699,000.
Swift GLX-CVT witnessed an increase of Rs270,000 to Rs3,169,000.
The new price of Suzuki APV will be Rs6,290,000 and Suzuki Jimny Rs6,049,000.
Similarly, Suzuki Ravi and Ravi w/o Deck now will be available at Rs1,216,000, and Rs1,141,000.
Earlier, Pak Suzuki Motor Co- Ltd has reduced the prices of cars in Pakistan up to Rs 155000 on 1000 cc cars following a cut in taxes in budget 2021-22.
Suzuki has reduced the prices of cars following tax incentives the government has approved in budget 2021-22.
Sources said that Pak Suzuki had reduced the prices of cars to around Rs 152000 on 800 cc car in Pakistan also made the further cut of Rs 155000 on 1000 ccs car.
It has issued revised prices of cars effective from July 1, 2021.
Industries Minister along with information minister had announced a reduction in prices of cars on Wednesday following new tax regime in budget 2021-22.
The government had announced a reduction in federal excise duty, sales tax, and additional customs duty on vehicles in budget 2021-22.
The auto industry had hailed the decision of the government to reduce taxes in the budget that resulted in reducing car prices.
The government announced to reduce prices of cars in Pakistan by Rs 229,458 due to several tax measures in budget 2021.
The car prices in Pakistan are already on the higher side and several tax measures in the budget have helped to reduce car prices.
For vehicles up to 1000cc, the government has removed Federal Excise Duty (FED), and Additional Customs Duty (ACD) on locally manufactured cars to reduce prices in Pakistan.
Automotive Sector is one of the major industrial sectors of the country. It has the potential to drive the entire economy of the country. Share in LSM is 7.81%.
Each car produced in the country creates employment opportunities for at least five (05) people.
The auto sector not only has dense backward and forward linkages that made it an engine of growth but it also has great potential for export.
The government is also working on a new auto policy that is due in August this year. The government had warned to open imports of cars if car markers fail to reduce the prices.
Following their commitment with the government, Pak Suzuki announced to reduce prices of cars effective from July 1, 2021.
Kia Motors has also reduced the price of cars following incentives in the tax budget 2021-22.
