Viral Dance Video: Bushra Ansari responds to the criticism
Sitting behind a screen to engage in idle chitchat is easy. Trolls, abusers, and harassers have been allowed wide reign to harass anyone on social media without consequence. One glance at the big, wide web is all it takes to judge someone for a few clicks and laughs.
Veteran actor Bushra Ansari is currently embroiled in a ridiculous scandal. Mehendi videos that had recently been released became viral over the weekend. Popular stars like Mahira Khan, Sajal Aly, Kubra Khan, and Gohar Rasheed were spotted dancing while Falak Shabbir set the mood.
Pakistani celebrities that promote vulgar culture found themselves lambasted on social media. However, a few users criticised Ansari for enjoying and dancing “too soon” after his sister’s passing. Many trivialized her hardship by calling her out for “walking proud” and ridiculed her for dancing while pleased.
Ansari addressed the hostility today.

It finally ended with, “If old age were perfect, then this advice wouldn’t apply. My statement on Islam is just respect for different religions. They never abandon someone even after wearing the hijab.”
She explained, “Stop harming people—also, Islam forbids it.”
