vivo V70 Lite 4G and Y05e Certified for Imminent Launch

vivo is preparing to expand its smartphone portfolio with the imminent release of two new devices: the V70 Lite 4G and the Y05e. Both models have recently received Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification, signaling a potential launch in the near future.

The vivo V70 Lite 4G appears to be a notable addition to the existing V70 lineup, which already includes the V70, V70 FE, and V70 Elite. Registered under the model number V2604, this new Lite variant features a substantial battery capacity listed at 7,920 mAh. Industry practices suggest vivo may market the battery as having an 8,000 mAh or even 8,100 mAh typical capacity. This points to a device designed with an emphasis on extended battery life, catering to users seeking longer usage without frequent recharging.

In terms of specifications, the V70 Lite 4G is expected to come equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The “4G” designation clarifies that this model will not support 5G connectivity, instead offering reliable 4G network performance. Details regarding other hardware aspects and software remain limited, but the FCC clearance suggests a launch may occur soon.

Alongside the V70 Lite 4G, vivo has also obtained FCC certification for the Y05e, identified by model number V2606. This device features a battery with a rated capacity of 5,050 mAh, commonly marketed as 5,200 mAh typical. The Y05e is set to be offered in a single configuration boasting 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The Y05e is reported to run Android 16, layered with vivo’s OriginOS 6, which is expected to provide a refined and updated user interface. This reflects vivo’s aim to offer a smooth and modern experience on this entry-level model.

While precise launch dates and pricing have not been disclosed by vivo, the recent FCC certifications indicate that these devices are nearing market readiness. The V70 Lite 4G may appeal to users prioritizing battery longevity without the necessity for 5G, while the Y05e will likely target the budget-conscious segment seeking updated software features and decent hardware capabilities.

vivo’s strategy to diversify its product lineup with new models in different performance and pricing tiers demonstrates its commitment to catering to a broad range of consumers. Pakistani consumers can anticipate more options in vivo’s portfolio as these devices approach their official launch.
