Zargham finally sent back to NESPAK, Lahore

Islamabad: Newly appointed power secretary, Omer Rasul soon after resuming the office of power secretary has started cleansing the ministry with the parked luggage of the past, It is learnt reliably on Thursday.

Omer Rasul, at his new assignment as being power secretary, although much familiar with the “Movers & Shakers” of the power ministry has sent back a joint secretary being assigned and deputed as Advisor on lone basis from one its attached department of continually feeding the “parasites” of the power sector, an official, who remained in the ministry but move out told Newztodays.com

Zargham Ishaq Khan, a permanent on deputation from the past two decades in the power ministry and dealing the payment mechanism of powerful IPPs, has been posted out of the ministry and his services has been returned back to NESPAK, Lahore office and he left the power ministry by reporting back to his parent department.

Ex-secretary power, Syed Irfan Ali was made OSD on Monday as he was wanted two of his close associates to be part of his team in power ministry despite the orders of Prime Minister for either sacking these officers or repatriating to their ordinal offices.
