As China builds the world’s largest 5G network, it is working now on research and development of the 6G technologies for the deep integration of physical and virtual worlds.
China has already formulated the IMT-2030 (6G) Promotion Group. This is a flagship platform in China to promote 6G.
Cui Chunfeng, president of the future research institute of the China Mobile Research Institute said that 6G will integrate with telecommunication, perception, computation, artificial intelligence, big data, and security being next-generation communication technology.
Cui said that the research on 6G is still at a preliminary stage worldwide.
Cui Chunfeng said that they predicted 6G to provide faster speeds, lower latency, and more bandwidth than 5G.
