Jet Use by Imran Khan:PML-N asks Engro to remain within Limits
PML-N now the ruling party has warned the Engro Corp to behave and remain within its limit which provided a charter jet to the former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Engrocorp had recently bought jet amind higher profits from DAP sale.
Engro Fertilizer had also received billions of rupees on account of Gas Infrastructure Development Cess (GIDC) on account of gas supply.
However, it had not paid to the government despite receiving billions from the poor farmers.
In addition, during the PTI government, a cartel of the fertilizer industry had made billions by overcharging.
Engrocorp is also in the business of DAP and urea fertilizer. The poor farmers had to pay Rs 10000 per bag of DAP and over Rs 3000 per bag of urea.
The PTI government had taken action but nothing had come to conclusion.

Therefore, Engrocorp had received a multimillion dollars contract for an LNG terminal during PML-N tenure.
Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had to face a corruption case in NAB.
Furthermore, even the PTI government had brought several Engrocorp officials into the government.
Asad Umar was a former employee of Engrocorp. Imran Khan had also appointed Khalid Mansoor as an advisor on CPEC.
Currently, the chairman OGDCL board had also worked in Engrocorp.
Engrocorp had said in a statement that they had nothing to do with the use of the jet by Imran Khan.
They said that a private company was holding a jet and Engrocorp had not facilitated Imran Khan to use a jet.
