Pakistan on Tuesday announced a 15-member squad for the ACC U-19 Asia Cup 2024, confirming Farhan Yousuf as captain for the Dubai event.
The tournament will run from December 12 to 21, and Pakistan has been drawn in Group A alongside India, Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 3.
The Pakistan U-19 team begins its training camp in Karachi today as it prepares to depart for Dubai ahead of the competition.
The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed Usman Khan as vice-captain while Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former national captain, will serve as the team manager for the event.
The 15-player squad includes Abdul Subhan, Ahmed Hussain, Ali Hassan Baloch, Ali Raza, Daniyal Ali Khan, Hamza Zahoor and Huzaifa Ahsan named.
Moman Qamar, Muhammad Huzaifa, Muhammad Sayyam, Muhammad Shayan, Niqab Shafiq and Sameer Minhas officially complete the 15-member Pakistan squad announced for Dubai.

The U-19 Asia Cup will be held in Dubai from December 12 to 21, with Pakistan scheduled for three group-stage matches before knockouts.
Pakistan’s opening match will be held on December 12 at the Sevens Stadium against Qualifier 3 in the group stage of the tournament.
Their second match — the highly anticipated encounter against arch-rivals India — will take place on December 14 at the ICC Academy in Dubai.
The final group match is scheduled for December 16 when Pakistan will face Qualifier 1 in Dubai.
The semi-final is set for December 19, while the tournament final will take place on December 21 in Dubai at the conclusion of the competition.
