Gold Hits Record-High In Pakistan Again

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend, reaching a record-high for the third consecutive day, with the price per tola hitting Rs486,162 on Wednesday.

During the day, gold gained Rs4,300 per tola, while 10-gram gold was sold at Rs416,805 after increasing by Rs3,687, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.

On Tuesday, the gold price per tola had reached Rs481,862 after a daily gain of Rs900, reflecting continued strength in the local market.

The international price of gold also rose by $43, reaching $4,638 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20 affecting local rates in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, silver prices increased by Rs500, bringing the rate to Rs9,575 per tola in the local market, according to APGJSA data.
