Islamabad authorities have made registration mandatory for all online taxi and bike services, warning that strict action will follow against operators who fail to comply with the new rules immediately.

Under the policy, comprehensive data on drivers and vehicles will be collected through a digital automation system, with Islamabad Police granted full access to the registration database securely for oversight.
