Gold Rate Jumps to Rs536,562

Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Monday, with 24-karat gold rising Rs3,000 per tola to Rs536,562, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The association said 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed Rs2,572 to Rs460,015, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased Rs2,358 to Rs421,695. The new rates are effective for Monday, February 23, 2026.
International gold prices also moved higher, gaining $30 to reach $5,138, reflecting an upward trend in global bullion markets. Local gold rates are based on interbank exchange rates, the association said.Gold Prices Rise Sharply Across Pakistan
Silver prices followed the same trajectory. The price of silver per tola rose Rs146 to Rs9,094, while 10 grams of 24-karat silver advanced Rs125 to Rs7,796. International silver prices increased $1.46 to $86.10.
The rates were issued under the authority of Muhammad Qasim Shikarpuri, President of the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, with purity benchmarked at 999 for 24-karat gold.
The latest increase highlights continued volatility in precious metal markets, as domestic prices track international movements and currency fluctuations in the interbank market.
