British-Pakistani First to Own Rimac Nevera R Hypercar

British-Pakistani entrepreneur and collector Shuaib Chaudhary has become the inaugural regular customer to receive the Rimac Nevera R, an electrifying hypercar boasting 2,107 horsepower. The exclusive handover event was held at Rimac’s factory in Croatia, with Bugatti Rimac CEO Mate Rimac personally delivering the vehicle.

About the Rimac Nevera R and Its Delivery

The Rimac Nevera R is a high-performance electric hypercar, produced in a limited run of just 40 units globally. Unlike the previously delivered Founder’s Edition models, Chaudhary’s car marks the first regular customer model handed over worldwide. This exclusive hypercar features a bespoke “Tiffany Edition” specification developed collaboratively by Chaudhary, Rimac’s design director, and the Bugatti Rimac team, adding personal style elements including a gloss-black finish combined with carbon fiber and turquoise accents.

Equipped with four independent electric motors driving each wheel, the Nevera R delivers a combined output of 2,107 hp and 2,340 Nm of torque, powered by a 108 kWh battery pack that is lighter than the standard version’s 120 kWh unit. The hypercar shatters performance benchmarks, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.66 seconds and reaching a verified top speed of 431.45 km/h. It also boasts 24 official performance records, including a 0-400-0 km/h time of 25.79 seconds and a quarter-mile sprint in 7.9 seconds.

Advanced Engineering for Track Performance

The Nevera R is a more track-focused variant of Rimac’s celebrated Nevera model, with aerodynamic enhancements that increase downforce by 15% and overall efficiency by roughly 10%. Its fixed rear wing, larger diffuser, and refined front aerodynamics work in tandem with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, updated suspension, and carbon-ceramic brakes to improve lateral grip by 5% and reduce understeer by 10%. These modifications contribute to a lap time reduction of 3.8 seconds at the Nardò Handling Track compared to the base model.

Significance for Pakistani Auto Enthusiasts

Though Rimac does not officially market its cars in Pakistan, Chaudhary’s acquisition represents a rare and prestigious connection for the Pakistani-origin community in the global automotive elite. As a British-based lawyer and financier with a reputation as an advocate and philanthropist, his involvement symbolises growing Pakistani presence in the sphere of ultra-luxury car collecting. This event highlights international interest and participation from Pakistanis within the expanding electric hypercar landscape.

With electric vehicles gaining momentum worldwide and interest in performance-oriented cars rising in Pakistan, Chaudhary’s receipt of the Rimac Nevera R underscores the possibilities for Pakistani collectors to engage with cutting-edge automotive technology and adds to the narrative of Pakistanis making their mark on luxury and innovation sectors internationally.

“Receiving the Nevera R is a milestone not just personally but represents the bridging of cultures and technological progress,” said Chaudhary.
