Amazon will ensure delivery in Pakistan Now?
Will Amazon ensure delivery in Pakistan now? When will happen it? This may happen in the future as Pakistani entrepreneurs and companies can only sell their products on Amazon. However, Amazon has not offered the facility of delivery of products in Pakistan at present.
It has just added Pakistan to the seller list. Vice President Amazon International Seller, Eric Broussard has confirmed on Friday that Amazon has added Pakistan to its seller list.
Prime Minister Commerce Advisor Razak Dawood in a tweet said that further to my previous tweet, today @amazon has confirmed that Pakistan has been added to its Sellers’ List. He said that it is a big accomplishment for our E-Commerce and will open up vast opportunities for a new breed of young men and women entrepreneurs.
We congratulate everyone involved, Dawood said.

Is Amazon in Pakistan? We can say ‘yes’. But it is for Pakistani companies to sell products and therefore would be no delivery of products here. However, Pakistani companies will be having equal opportunities like others in the world to ship their products to clients across the world.
How to use amazon in Pakistan?
Amazon is an online platform for selling and buying products. Pakistani companies will get registration on this platform to sell and buy products.
Earlier, Gul Ahmed had said Amazon sales would boost the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and large-scale sector revenues by utilizing this platform for exports purpose. Amazon has recently added Pakistan to its seller list for delivery, opening opportunities for E-commerce.
The company has recently announced to open seller registration of Pakistani companies. This will be an opportunity for the sellers on the Amazon platform for the sale of their products.
Amazon will provide online marketplaces for delivery in Pakistan to sell their products across the world. It will also enable global connectivity for SMEs through the seller’s registration program.
Online marketplaces with maximum traffic and user base have become giants due to their customer-focused approach to service delivery. The seller registration program allows SMEs to connect globally with major markets.
Now, Amazon has announced to add Pakistan to the seller list and will soon begin registering sellers of Pakistani companies through the efforts of the Ministry of Commerce.
The Commerce Ministry has been working on the issue for the past year. It had launched a pilot project with the help of Pakistan Embassy USA etc.
The NEECC was instrumental in taking this issue forward, as it represented all public sector organizations. All work began following the e-commerce policy, cabinet approved in late 2019.
Although Pakistani products are already sold on Amazon because of the excellent manufacturing of textiles, sports, leather, and surgical equipment. However, Pakistan is not on the list of sellers and companies that have had to register from their offices outside Pakistan or they are preparing for other brands available on Amazon.
The biggest difference after being included in the list of sellers will be that Pakistani companies will be able to create IDs using their Pakistani details, including Pakistani banks.
There will be many opportunities for young SMEs and women entrepreneurs to connect with the global market. The new era of e-commerce for Pakistan will start to promote more business and Pakistani brands as they will be able to access all major markets through Amazon.
Amazon sells 300 to 400 billion US dollars every year. Joining Pakistan’s list of sellers will create new export opportunities, Amazon’s 3P model serves brand owners, while the 1P model is for large-scale producers who want to manufacture Amazon brand products.
Some Pakistani companies are already selling on Amazon, but the inclusion of Pakistan in this list will increase the opportunities for SMEs.
The NECC decided to form a focus group that would meet twice a month or twice a month to address all the challenges such as logistics, warehousing, etc. A successful platform for Amazon to sell Pakistani products to the world.
Private sector logistics companies have the opportunity to develop international partnerships to grow their business and deliver logistics efficiently.
Pak Post is also coming up with automation and is preparing itself for parcel delivery. It is also a business opportunity for marketing service providers to produce Pakistani brands, content, and quality images for Pakistani sellers. The work of the Intellectual Property Organization has also been taken up to expedite the process of brand registration.
Amazon is a consumer-focused marketplace, so consumer reviews and satisfaction levels are crucial. B2B is a new form of cross-border e-commerce business but it will now become popular in Pakistan.
Speaking to Amazon, Mr. Dawood said, “Pakistan is about to enter a new era of e-commerce, Amazon will develop Pakistan’s e-commerce scene. It will provide an SME platform for export to the global market. The online platforms will provide thousands of jobs and business opportunities. Our philosophy is to promote “Make in Pakistan”. I would like to thank all my colleagues who helped us achieve this milestone.
