Cardi B Secures $60K Settlement from Blogger Tasha K

Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has secured an additional $60,000 settlement from YouTuber and blogger LaTasha Kebe, known as Tasha K, following a prolonged legal battle. The latest development arises from allegations that Kebe violated a court-approved agreement by posting comments about Cardi B, her estranged husband Offset, and NFL star Stefon Diggs.
According to court documents, both parties reached an agreement on June 30 to resolve recent disputes and avoid further litigation stemming from Cardi B’s $4 million defamation judgment against Kebe in 2022. Under a bankruptcy agreement made the previous year, Kebe was allowed to delay payments on the judgment provided she refrained from making disparaging remarks about Cardi B, legally named Belcalis Almánzar, and her family.
Cardi B argued that Kebe breached this agreement by publishing new comments related to the rapper, Offset, and Diggs. In response, the court ordered Kebe to cover over $110,000 in legal fees as compensation. However, with the new settlement, this amount has been reduced to approximately $60,000, contingent upon Kebe making all required payments on time. If she complies fully, Cardi B has agreed to accept this reduced amount as full settlement of the sanctions.
This resolution is part of an ongoing legal dispute that began in 2019 when Cardi B sued Tasha K for defamation over a series of online videos. Cardi B alleged that the blogger spread false accusations, including claims that she had been a prostitute, used cocaine, cheated on Offset, and had sexually transmitted infections such as herpes and HPV.
The lawsuit and subsequent agreements highlight the continuing tension between the rapper and the blogger, whose online content has frequently drawn criticism and legal action from various celebrities. Cardi B’s successful pursuit of legal remedies underscores the challenges public figures face in managing their reputations amid widespread social media commentary.
