Petrol Prices in Pakistan Today

Govt Increases Diesel Prices By Rs 6 Per Litre

Federal government on Saturday revised petroleum product prices effective 16 November, raising high-speed diesel by Rs 6 per litre while motor spirit (petrol) remains steady.

The Finance Division of Pakistan announced late on 15 November that the new pump-prices for the fortnight starting 16 November 2025 will see the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) raised from Rs 278.44 to Rs 284.44 per litre, an increase of Rs 6.00. Petrol (motor spirit, MS) remains unchanged at Rs 265.45 per litre, the ministry said.

The revision follows input from the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and relevant ministries, as part of the government’s regular fortnight-ly review mechanism. Diesel is heavily used in heavy transport, agriculture, and other energy-intensive sectors, meaning the increase could further add pressure on logistics and retail inflation.
