Edge To Invest $33M in AI Medical Billing Tool
The Technology Company Edge announced on Thursday to invest $ 33 million investment in its Rinova AI project during next 18 months to boost medical billing industry.
“ We have planned to scale up investment from $17 to $50 million in the next 18 months and will provide more than 1000 jobs,” Co-Founder Edge Iffi Wahla announced this during a signing ceremony between Rinova AI and RCM Matter.
CEO Edge said that they woud provide more than 1000 jobs in next 18 years and had set minimum salary benchmark at 350,000. He said that Rinova AI was an advanced AI tool to grow medical billing industry.
Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister for Information Technology and Telecom, said on Thursday that the government was working to streamline infrastructure in the IT sector to boost investment.

“Government is working to boost technology-driven and knowledge-based economy under the concept of true digital Pakistan,” the IT minister said while addressing a signing ceremony.
Shaza Fatima said that IT companies in the private sector are contributing to Pakistan’s economy.
She said that the government was working on two basics. It was trying to extend support to the private sector to make Pakistan a ‘ tech destination’.
The minister said that the government was taking initiatives to streamline the IT industry and human resource development.
“ The government is training half of million human resources every year without any cost,” she said, adding that focus has remained on demand-driven training.
“The other part is to turn Pakistan into a digital nation,” she said, adding that the government has chalked out a road map to make True Digital Pakistan.
She said that the government had formed a commission led by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif aimed at getting right preferences of data for government and private sector.
“ Data will be available for the private sector for technology driven,” she said adding that country had witnessed 25 percent growth in IT exports and government wanted to maintain this momentum to achieve target of 15 billion IT exports by 2030.
She said that government had also approved national AI policy and the objective was how to patent AI products. Data centre and cloud available in pakistan for data,” she added.Minsiter said that government was also setting up center of excenllences in universities to train the IT professionals.
RCM Matter CEO Mudassar Hanif said that partnership was a good sign to grow in healthcare.He said that as many as 1000 people would get job in coming months.
