Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Friday, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs 3,400 to Rs 469,562. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold went up by Rs 2,915 to Rs 402,573.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs 2,672 to Rs 369,038.

In the international market, gold was priced at $4,472 per ounce, reflecting an increase of $34.

Silver prices also recorded gains in the domestic market. The price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs 70 to Rs 8,195, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs 60 to Rs 7,025.

International silver prices stood at $77.20 per ounce, up by $0.7.

The association said local gold rates are based on interbank exchange rates and a purity level of 999 for 24-karat gold.
