Gold prices slipped across Pakistan on Wednesday as domestic and international markets moved lower.
Gold eased after the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association posted fresh interbank-based rates showing another daily decline in the benchmark 24-karat tola price. The association listed 24K gold at Rs 443,162 per tola, down Rs 1,000 from the previous session, reflecting softer global sentiment and a stable rupee.
Traders said the 10-gram 24K rate also fell to Rs 379,939 after shedding Rs 858, while 22K gold slipped to Rs 348,290 following a Rs 786 decline.
The domestic adjustment followed a mild dip in international gold, where prices edged down to US$ 4,208 per ounce, lower by US$ 10 on the day.

Silver moved in the opposite direction as local demand pushed prices higher. Silver tola rose to Rs 6,085 after gaining Rs 81, while 10-gram silver climbed Rs 69 to reach Rs 5,216. International silver also gained modestly, rising to US$ 58.13 per ounce, up US$ 0.81. Market participants said the metal has shown stronger momentum in recent sessions as buyers sought lower-priced alternatives to gold.
