Gold rises to Rs 444,462 per tola in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan climbed on Friday as 24-carat gold reached Rs 444,462 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 3,000 from the previous session.
The 10-gram 24-carat rate stood at Rs 381,054 after gaining Rs 2,572. The 22-carat 10-gram price rose to Rs 349,312, up Rs 2,358. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association posted the updated rates for 5 December 2025, reflecting movements tied to interbank exchange calculations.
International gold edged higher to $4,221, adding $30, while silver followed the upward trend. Silver per tola reached Rs 6,072 after a Rs 72 rise, and 10-gram silver increased to Rs 5,205, gaining Rs 61. International silver was quoted at $58, up 0.72.
Traders said the latest revision reflects routine adjustments based on global bullion shifts and currency parity. The association noted purity at 999 for 24-carat calculations. The market continues to watch volatility in international metals and domestic exchange rates, which shape day-to-day pricing for buyers and jewellers across Pakistan.
