Gold Prices Increased By Rs 1600 Per Tola
Gold Prices in Pakistan on Monday increased by Rs 1600 per tola in line with fluctuation in global market.
Gold rose sharply in early trading, with 24k tola priced at Rs443,762 after an increase of Rs1,600. The 10-gram 24k rate reached Rs380,454, up Rs1,372, while 10-gram 22k gold was quoted at Rs348,762 after gaining Rs1,258. The association reported that the increases reflected gold’s steady advance in global markets, where traders positioned for monetary easing by major central banks. A stable interbank exchange rate has also helped determine local bullion benchmarks, which rely on daily currency adjustments to calculate rupee-based valuations.
Silver also strengthened on Monday. The 24k tola rate rose to Rs6,102 after a Rs30 gain, while 10-gram silver reached Rs5,231, higher by Rs26. International silver edged up to $58.30 per ounce, adding $0.30. Retail jewellers said steady demand from investors continued to support prices at the start of December, a period that often sees higher activity due to the wedding season.
