Gold Prices in Pakistan dropped on Thursday amid a mild downward adjustment across local and international markets.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola settled at Rs 466,162, marking a decrease of Rs 600 from the previous session. The decline extended to the 10-gram 24-karat rate, which closed at Rs 399,658, down by Rs 515.
The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold was fixed at Rs 366,366, registering a fall of Rs 472, according to the association’s daily bulletin released on Thursday.
International gold prices also edged lower. The international gold rate was quoted at $4,438 per ounce, reflecting a decrease of $6 on the day.
Silver prices followed a similar trend in both domestic and international markets. The price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs 236 to Rs 8,125 in the local market.

In the international market, silver was priced at $76.50 per ounce, down by $2.36, indicating broader weakness in precious metals during the session.
The association stated that local gold and silver prices were determined on the basis of interbank exchange rates, reflecting currency movements and global price adjustments.
Gold prices quoted by the association are based on a purity level of 999 for 24-karat gold, in line with prevailing international standards.
