Gold Tola Surges to Rs 563,862

Gold prices in Pakistan jumped sharply on Monday as 24-karat gold per tola jumped up to Rs 563,862, registering a single-day increase of Rs 13,300.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams climbed to Rs 483,420 after gaining Rs 11,402 during the session. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold per 10 grams was quoted at Rs 443,151, marking an increase of Rs 10,453.
International gold prices were listed at $5,411, showing a rise of $133. The local bullion rates are based on interbank exchange rates, as stated on the official rate sheet. The purity standard mentioned for gold is 999, equivalent to 24 karats.
Silver prices also recorded gains in the domestic market. Silver per tola increased to Rs 10,050 after advancing Rs 188. The price of 24-karat silver per 10 grams rose to Rs 8,616, up Rs 161 on the day.Gold Prices Rise Sharply Across Pakistan
In the international market, silver was quoted at $95.66, reflecting an increase of $1.88.
The rates were issued under the authority of the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association and signed by its President Muhammad Qasim Shikarpuri.
