Gold Prices Fall Rs13,900 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan dropped sharply on Tuesday, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association based on interbank exchange rates.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell to Rs549,962, down Rs13,900 from the previous session. The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined to Rs471,503, marking a decrease of Rs11,917.Gold complicates Pakistan’s economic outlook
Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold were priced at Rs432,226, down Rs10,925 on the day.
In the international market, gold was quoted at $5,272, showing a decline of $139.
Silver prices also recorded a significant fall. The price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped to Rs8,904, down Rs1,146. The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat silver decreased to Rs7,633, reflecting a drop of Rs983.
International silver was reported at $84.20, down $11.46.
The association stated that the rates are based on interbank exchange rates, with gold purity noted at 999 and 24K.
