Member (Sindh) Rafique Ahmad Shaikh has already complete his tenure last month. The Member (Balochistan) Mathar Niaz Rana had resigned earlier from his position citing health issues.
But the real issue was that he had faced internal conflict with other members of the body and he preferred to resign rather than staying in office.
Rana has been writing dissents notes on the decisions taken by the regulator which led to conflict with other members of the body.
The regulator has to take most important decisions relating to the determination of the power tariff.
It has currently held the public hearing for the most important case of solar net metering to shift the net metering to the net billing which had generated strong criticism from different stakeholders.
