Govt to approve National Artificial Intelligence Policy
Government plans to train 0.1 million graduates in artificial intelligence in next five years
As Chatgbt revolutionize the world, the government has decided to announce National Artificial Intelligence Policy in order to moving alongside the digital world.

The government has uploaded a draft of National Artificial Intelligence Policy to seek opinion of experts and stakeholders before getting its approval from the cabinet.
After seeking input from all concerned stakeholders, Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication would table a draft before cabinet for formal approval.
Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) use and its promotion in the country is the need of the hour.
He said that Pakistan has to progress in multiple fields in order to moving alongside the digital world.
In a statement regarding the introduction of first National Artificial Intelligence Policy in Pakistan, Federal Minister Syed Amin Ul Haque said that draft of National Artificial Intelligence Policy has been uploaded on the website of Ministry of IT & Telecom.
He added that the draft is open for suggestions from masses including civil society, experts and relevant industry, and local and international institutions by June 15, 2023 after which it will be finalized in the light of suggestions.
He said that Ministry of IT is going to set up a Policy Committee comprising industry, academia and AI experts, which will give proposals to tackle different challenges regarding Artificial Intelligence.
Syed Amin Ul Haque said that 100,000 graduates will be given Artificial Intelligence training in next five years in collaboration with the academia.
He said that this AI Policy will be helpful for protecting data. He said that both foreign and local investors will be encouraged to invest in AI research & development.
He maintained that modern technology will be helpful in the development of local industries.
Federal Minister for IT said that readiness is vital to tackle challenges in technology field.
