OGDCL Receives Rs 82B due to Settlement  

Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has received Rs 82 billion due to settlement of invoices from different clients.

Petroleum Division had taken measures for timely payments by Sui Company. Sources said that circular debt accumulation had been effectively contained.

“OGDC receiving interest payment for Term Finance Certificates as per schedule. Principal already received in full,” sources said.

Sources further said that its sale would also increase in the coming days as Pakistan and Qatar have inked LNG diversion deal.

Pakistan has diverted 24 LNG cargoes that were scheduled in 2026 due to low demand of gas in power sector.

Sources said that OGDCL had been facing issues of gas curtailment. Due to diversion of LNG from Qatar, it would be able to avoid the gas curtailment.
