Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Tuesday, with the interbank rate reflecting gains across local and international markets, according to data released by jewellers’ associations.

According to the schedule, 24-karat gold per tola was priced at 493,662 rupees, marking an increase of 4,300 rupees compared with previous rates nationwide today.

Data also showed the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold reaching 423,235 rupees, while 22-karat gold stood at 387,979 rupees in Pakistan markets today.

Internationally, gold was quoted at 4,713 dollars per ounce, posting a daily rise of 43 dollars amid continued volatility in global commodity trading markets today.

Silver prices also moved higher, with the local rate for a tola set at 9,869 rupees, reflecting an increase of 87 rupees on Tuesday trading.

On international markets, silver was priced at 93.94 dollars, up by 0.87 dollars, according to the same data released by jewellers’ bodies worldwide today officially.
