Poor coverage, overbilling: Jazz beats other Telecos again

Jazz Pakistan maintains the top position with half of the complaints against telecom firms relating to its consumers.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has conducted a survey. Jazz Pakistan holds a 36 % market share in the country.
The maximum number of complaints comprises—50%–of all three parameters in six cities. Out of the seven megacities in the country, Jazz service is the worst in Sargodha.
However, PTA has listed Lahore at a second position where consumers suffer due to poor service of Jazz. Faisalabad holds the third position when it comes to the poor services of Jazz.

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA)—regulators of all CMOs in Pakistan—issued a table of complaints. It ranked the Telecos as in line with their respective consumers.
PTA has tabulated complaints on three parameters. They include quality of Service, coverage issues and billing (Tariff) issues.
Quality of service
Jazz consumers received maximum complaints in Lahore. However, Karachi stands at second ranks where consumers lodged complaints of poor quality of service. Thirdly, Sargodha had complaints of poor quality of service in the area.

Coverage Issues
Lastly, the survey shows that Jazz had 39 % coverage issues complaints out of total. Lahore is at the top where Jazz consumers complained, Faisalabad at a second position. Lastly, consumers from Islamabad had coverage issues as well.

However, the survey further highlighted that PTA had registered 63 percent complaints of billing issues. Meanwhile, PTA received complaints from Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Rahim Yar Khan.
