Ufone continues penalizing customers in all major cities

Islamabad: Ufone—the country’s telecom monopoly—has issues about the poor quality of services, coverage, and overcharging with the consumers of all major cities country.

According to PTA data, Ufone—ranked at the bottom among the four CMOs in the country–has a poor quality of services, coverage, and overcharging (billing) in major cities like Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Okara, Karachi, and Lahore.

The user complained about the poor quality of services in cities like Lahore, Islamabad, Okara, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, and Faisalabad. In contrast, the consumers also reported non-provision of services—poor network coverage—in Charsadda, Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Nowshera, and Sargodha, said the report.

The report highlighted the billing issues (overcharging) that the consumers of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Islamabad, Multan, Jauharabad, and Faisalabad are facing the issue of overcharging by Ufone.
