PSL Urges Franchises to Recover Pending Dues

PSL management has urged franchise owners to help recover pending dues from stakeholders, highlighting the need for financial cooperation before the next season begins.

A crucial meeting took place between officials and franchise representatives to address ongoing operational challenges and financial concerns.

Severa officials attended the meeting through video link, while Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen was notably absent, despite his representatives being present throughout the session.

During discussions, PSL authorities encouraged franchises to take an active role in recovering outstanding payments, as PCB still awaits pending financial settlements.

Meanwhile, Usman Wahla officially rejoined the PSL setup, attending the meeting to mark his formal return to the management framework of the league.

Franchise owners were also informed that two additional teams are expected to join in the 11th edition, expanding the structure and reach of the tournament.

The conversation also briefly covered player retention strategies and upcoming decisions expected to shape the squad planning the upcoming season.
