Silver price rises in Pakistan as global market strengthens
Silver prices in Pakistan inched higher on Monday as local bullion traders tracked gains in the international market, where the metal jumped to US$50.96, up 0.55 on the day.
Silver rose to Rs 5,368 per tola in domestic trade, reflecting an increase of Rs 55 from the previous session, according to rates issued by market dealers. The 10-gram price climbed to Rs 4,602, up Rs 47, extending a steady upward trend seen across the bullion board.
The increase followed a stable session for gold, which held at elevated levels despite muted global movement. Local dealers quoted 24-karat gold at Rs 430,662 per tola, while 10-gram 24-karat gold stood at Rs 369,223. The 22-karat 10-gram rate remained at Rs 338,466, showing no change on the day. International gold was recorded at US$4,083, reflecting steady global sentiment amid caution over economic data releases.
