How To Apply for RLNG Gas Connections Online
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has begun accepting applications for domestic gas connections, but only under the Re-Gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) tariff framework.
The company announced that priority will be extended to applicants who earlier paid urgent fees or demand notices before the official ban on connections.
Such applicants can obtain RLNG supply by signing formal contracts, submitting written consent, and covering the differential security charges required under the revised system.
SNGPL confirmed that individuals with pending applications for conventional gas may now reapply for RLNG either through the normal merit list or fast-track system.
RLNG Gas Connection Fee
The urgent category requires a payment of Rs25,000, while normal applications carry no filing cost but follow routine processing without expedited preference.

Charges for RLNG connections include refundable security of Rs20,000 and service line fees of Rs1,500 or Rs3,000, depending on residential property size.
RLNG Online Application
LNG stands for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). Pakistan imports this LNG from Qatar which is expensive. LNG rate amounts to $12 to $13 per million (british thermal unit (MMBTU). In Pakistani rupee, its cost is over Rs 3000 per mmbtu.
Under the new arrangement, SNGPL and SSGC can extend RLNG connections to half of total applicants annually, with fast-track supply guaranteed within three months.
However, the tariff for RLNG supply will remain significantly higher, estimated at nearly seventy percent above conventional domestic gas prices charged to household consumers.
SNGPL, the largest integrated gas utility, serves millions of households across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir under its nationwide operational network.
