The Fall of the House of Usher centers on the wealthy and morally corrupt Usher family, with the story revolving mainly around siblings Roderick and Madeline. The series chronicles the family’s dark ascent to power and the mysterious fate of Roderick’s six children, whose deaths are intricately linked to a supernatural character named Verna. Verna, whose name is an anagram of “Raven,” alludes to Poe’s famous poem and symbolizes the curse underlying the family fortune.
