Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Saturday, tracking gains in the international market, as local rates recorded a sharp increase during the day.
In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs11,700 to reach Rs519,462, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
The price of 10-gram gold also moved higher, rising by Rs10,030 to Rs445,354, reflecting the same upward trend seen in the bullion market.

A day earlier, on Friday, gold prices had declined, with the per tola rate falling by Rs21,400 to settle at Rs507,762.
Internationally, gold prices increased by $117 to reach $4,967 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Silver prices also registered an increase in the local market, gaining Rs444 to reach Rs8,269 per tola.
