Gold Falls to Rs533,762 per Tola

Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Friday, with the rate of 24-karat gold falling to Rs533,762 per tola, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs3,400 to reach Rs533,762 on Friday, March 6. The rate of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also declined by Rs2,915, settling at Rs457,614.Gold Prices Rise Sharply Across Pakistan
Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs2,672 to Rs419,494.
International gold prices also showed a slight decline. The global gold rate stood at $5,110, marking a decrease of $34 compared to the previous session.
In contrast, silver prices recorded an increase in the local market. The price of silver per tola rose by Rs104 to Rs8,914. The rate of silver per 10 grams increased by Rs89 to Rs7,642.
In international markets, silver was recorded at $84.30, up by $1.04.
The rates are based on interbank exchange rates, with gold purity set at 999 or 24-karat standard, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
