Punjab Offers 1,400 Rescue 1122 Internships for Healthcare Students

The Punjab government has announced 1,400 internship opportunities under the Chief Minister Internship Program in collaboration with Rescue 1122. This initiative aims to provide young healthcare professionals with practical experience in emergency response and public safety services.
According to the official announcement, the internships are open to candidates with qualifications in Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, or Allied Health Sciences. Applicants must hold a diploma or degree from a recognized board, council, or university and have achieved at least a second division in their academic records.
Eligibility criteria also include having a Punjab domicile and being between 18 to 30 years of age. This program is designed to equip participants with hands-on training in emergency medical care, rescue operations, and disaster response. Interns will gain practical skills by working in a professional environment and handling real-world emergency scenarios.
The government emphasizes that this program will enhance the capabilities of young healthcare workers and improve their future employment opportunities. Notably, exceptional interns may be considered for further employment with Rescue 1122.
