Gold Prices Drop Rs3,500 Per Tola
Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday by Rs3,500 per tola to Rs460,436, according to rates shown by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold fell Rs3,500 per tola on Thursday. The new domestic rate stood at Rs460,436 per tola.
The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped Rs3,001. It settled at Rs394,749, according to the association’s published rate sheet.Gold Prices Drop Sharply in Pakistan
Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs2,751. Its price was quoted at Rs361,866 during Thursday’s trading session.
International gold was quoted at $4,380, down $35 from its previous level. The association said domestic gold rates were based on interbank exchange rates.
Silver prices also recorded notable declines alongside weaker domestic gold rates. The 24-karat silver price fell Rs175 to Rs6,936 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of silver dropped Rs150 to Rs5,946. International silver declined $1.75 and was quoted at $64.57.
The rate sheet was dated Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026. It listed gold purity at 999 for the 24-karat benchmark.
The published rates were issued under association president Muhammad Qasim Shikarpuri. Pakistan gold prices remain linked to international bullion and interbank exchange rates.
