HEC Chairman Praises ISCE 2026 Success

The Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, has commended the successful conclusion of the 6th International Students Convention & Expo (ISCE) 2026. The four-day event was hailed as a significant achievement in academic diplomacy and youth engagement.
Dr Akhtar, serving as the Patron-in-Chief of ISCE 2026, congratulated the organizers, partnering universities, and participating students for their efforts. He paid special tribute to Muhammad Murtaza Noor, CEO and Founder of the International Students Convention, for his leadership and dedication to fostering a dynamic platform for student collaboration, innovation, and global interaction.
Highlighting the importance of such initiatives, Dr Akhtar emphasized their role in promoting academic excellence, nurturing leadership qualities, and encouraging international cooperation among youth. He reaffirmed the HEC’s commitment to supporting programs aimed at advancing quality higher education and empowering students within Pakistan.
The event was jointly hosted by several leading institutions, including Quaid-i-Azam University, Riphah International University, PAF-IAST Haripur, and FAST University Islamabad. During the convention, over 34 competitions took place alongside an innovation and education expo, symposia, cultural showcases, and leadership workshops.
ISCE 2026 saw participation from students representing more than 25 countries, underscoring the growing international significance of the convention as a platform for cross-cultural exchange and academic collaboration.
Following the event, the management of the International Students Convention & Expo expressed their gratitude to Dr Akhtar for his ongoing guidance and support. A spokesperson noted that his vision for internationalizing higher education and enhancing student engagement has been key in elevating ISCE to a globally recognized forum.
