How to Lodge a Crypto Fraud Complaint in Pakistan
Pakistan has rolled out its first centralized complaint system to help cryptocurrency investors report scams and fraudulent trading schemes with greater efficiency and transparency.
PVARA has launched a Grievance Cell to handle complaints on crypto fraud, false ads, and disputes with virtual-asset service providers.
Officials said the initiative is designed to bring order to the rapidly growing crypto market, where unregulated platforms have frequently misled unsuspecting investors.
Citizens can lodge complaints online through pvara.gov.pk/grievance-cell or email them directly to complaints@pvara.gov.pk for swift and verified processing by the authority.

Once fully operational, the platform will route validated cases to specialized investigation teams, ensuring faster action against fraudulent digital-asset entities and deceptive marketing practices.
The move comes amid a sharp rise in crypto-related fraud across Pakistan, including recent scams in Gujranwala involving fake international trading firms on WhatsApp.
Authorities said the complaint cell will not only help victims recover losses but also strengthen oversight and accountability across the country’s digital asset ecosystem.
The effort aligns with the broader goal of the Pakistan to regulate virtual assets, meet FATF compliance requirements, and encourage transparent blockchain innovation nationwide.
