Silver Shines Amid Global Gold Price Stability

Gold prices held steady in Pakistan and abroad on Thursday, underscoring investor caution amid uncertain global economic signals.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 24-karat gold per tola remained at Rs388,600, while 10 grams stayed at Rs333,161.

The international market also showed no movement, with gold prices unchanged at $3,668 per ounce.

Analysts suggest this stability reflects a “wait-and-see” approach from investors as they assess potential changes in interest rates, inflation, and currency values.

Silver, however, diverged from the pattern. In Pakistan, the price of 24-karat silver per tola rose by Rs31, reaching Rs4,418.

Ten grams also climbed, settling at Rs3,787. Market watchers note that silver often responds differently due to its dual role as both an investment asset and an industrial material.
