Nishat Expands Lineup with Locally Assembled JAECOO J7

After launching the all-electric JAECOO J6 and OMODA E5 earlier this year, Nishat Motors has now introduced the JAECOO J7 PHEV in Pakistan.

The mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV aims to bridge the gap between electric and fuel-powered vehicles in a market where charging facilities remain limited.

The JAECOO J7 PHEV delivers a practical mix of fuel efficiency and flexibility, appealing to drivers looking for long-distance comfort and lower running costs.

With its advanced hybrid system, the SUV removes range anxiety and offers the benefits of electric performance combined with the reliability of fuel-based power.

Variants and Pricing

The JAECOO J7 PHEV is available in two trims named Comfort and Premium, both powered by the same hybrid setup with minor feature differences.

The Premium version is priced at Rs 9,999,000 ex-factory, with introductory rates remaining valid until November 30, 2025, across Pakistan.

Bookings are now open with an advance payment of Rs 2 million, while nationwide deliveries are expected to begin from mid-December 2025.

Warranty Coverage

Nishat Motors is providing an extensive warranty package for long-term confidence, covering both the vehicle and its electric power components comprehensively.

The vehicle warranty lasts for six years or 150,000 kilometres, while the battery warranty extends to eight years or 160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.

Performance and Features

The JAECOO J7 PHEV comes equipped with a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine and an 18.3 kWh battery producing 342 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque.

It accelerates from zero to one hundred kilometres per hour in just 8.5 seconds and delivers a pure electric range of ninety kilometres WLTP.

The SUV’s interior includes premium soft-touch materials, a 14.8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a Sony eight-speaker audio system.

Additional features include ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and dual-zone climate control for enhanced driving comfort.

Customers can book the SUV through authorized Omoda-JAECOO dealerships, the official website, or directly at designated display venues nationwide.

Global Reception and Market Positioning

Global reviewers have praised the JAECOO J7 PHEV for its refined build, stylish interior, and performance that matches global premium hybrid standards.

Mat Watson from Carwow described the design as smart and elegant, while CarExpert’s Paul Maric praised its comfort and noise insulation on the road.

In Pakistan, the SUV competes with the Haval H6 PHEV, MG HS PHEV, and Forthing Friday in the growing mid-size hybrid SUV category.

With a price similar to the MG HS PHEV, Nishat Motors’ latest offering gives local buyers a fresh, high-value hybrid alternative.

By introducing the JAECOO J7 PHEV, Nishat Motors has reinforced its commitment to hybrid mobility and sustainable innovation within Pakistan’s evolving automotive market.
