The prices in PTI Govt go up to 315 per cent

Islamabad: The consumers have faced the highest increase in prices of 23 items up to 315 per cent during the PTI government.

According to a report, the prices of those items like tomatoes and Chillies green which are in use of common man have witnessed the highest increase. The prices of different items have witnessed the highest increase in the month of March 2019 in the tenure of the PTI government compared to the corresponding period of last year during the PML-N regime.

The report revealed that the prices of tomatoes witnessed the highest increase by 315.30 per cent in the month of March compared to the corresponding period last year. The price of Chillies green also registered the highest increase of 151.30 per cent during the PTI government.

The price of bentnovate-n-Ointment 5GMS tube went up by 62.78 percent. The prices of peas and Dettol (medium) have also registered an increase of 55.47 and 53.98 per cent respectively during the month of March.

The masses have also faced the highest rise in bus fare outside the city due to the increase in prices of petroleum products. The bus fare outside the city went up by 47.67 per cent during the corresponding month of March last year 2018. The prices of Calpol syrup 60 ML and Sancos syrup went up by 40.80 per cent and 34.59 per cent respectively.
