Punjab Boards Extend Class 9 Registration Deadline to June 22

The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has extended the registration deadline for Class 9 students enrolling for the 2026-28 academic session. This extension provides additional time for students and schools across Punjab to complete the admission process.

According to the updated notification, students can now submit their Class 9 registration and admission forms without incurring any late fee until June 22, 2026. This revised deadline applies uniformly across all educational boards in Punjab, including the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore and other regional boards.

Officials emphasized that this decision aims to support students and educational institutions that have not yet finalized their registrations. Following the deadline, the late registration period will open from June 23 to July 7, 2026, during which students will be required to pay a late fee of Rs. 600 per student.

The committee has urged schools and students to complete the registration process within the newly extended timeframe to avoid additional charges and potential delays in admission confirmation. The extended deadline is expected to benefit thousands of students by offering greater flexibility during the admissions process for the upcoming matriculation academic session.

This move comes as part of ongoing efforts to facilitate smoother administrative procedures and ensure wider access to education in Punjab.
